Hot day. And hazy too.
Feeling a little sleepy, but do not want to waste time sleeping. Air condition of Tekong was not too good few hours back. On the ferry back to mainland Singapore watched channel newsasia and noticed the PSI was 130. Not a good sign, especially for recruits who will need to do strenuous activities out in the open.
Been coughing and having flu for a couple of days. Virus is spreading around my bunk and maybe even the whole platoon. The haze only worsens the condition. Unable to join in the AGR training today, which is basically a very stamina demanding running regime. But was able to complete the previous time and felt wonderful. Ran non-stop for 20 minutes around a 500-metres parade square at a speed of 2.5 minutes/rounds. What surprised even myself was that I was not entirely tired after the run. Conquered one area in IPPT.
Hope to keep going and give my best. There are posters tagged infront of every urinals in my platoon toilet for motivation purposes. The one I like best is with an eagle on it, and the statement,"You'll never know how high you can fly, until you spread your wings and soar."
I promised myself I will.
it is just sooner or later
